Two huge hurling families came together on the 15th December 2017 to celebrate the wedding of Deirdre Burke & Niall Healy.  They first met as teenagers in St.Brigid’s College Loughrea & it didn’t take them long to notice one another! They rekindled their youthful romance in the summer of 2010 shortly after Deirdre gave birth to her beautiful daughter Kayla and they haven’t parted since.   They moved into their beautiful home in November 2015 and Niall followed up with the proposal on Christmas Day!  Deirdre always wanted a December wedding; firstly, because she loved Christmas and secondly, it would be the only time there would be no hurling matches! The date was set, 15th December 2017,  and the weeks flew by! It was the most beautiful day & one they will never forget.  Especially because they have the most beautiful photos to remember it.” Deirdre & Niall
